Tethering Help Needed

Hi. Well since they requested I post I figured I would. I am a newb and just jailbroke my phone last week. I teach 8th grade and one of my students is helping me. I’m ok on most stuff but am having a problem with tethering. I don’t think it’s my phone b/c tethering worked on my boyfriend’s computer. I have a net book running Windows 7. I don’t have Itunes installed on this computer but did download the drivers. I have iTunes on my XP computer. I can get wifi tethering with MyWi but can’t get USB or Bluetooth tethering (Bluetooth dongle) to work. I have checked the obvious to make sure that tethering is on and Bluetooth is on. I think the problem is with the computer settings, not the phone since my phone tethered to my boyfriend’s computer. Basically same computer as mine but with built in Bluetooth. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Glad to be a part of the Forum.

I installed the tethering on the phone and it wont work.

cause the tethering will not work on 3.1.3 as far as i know. You should try mywi from the repo.
