Icon4 Respringing problem

Here's the story:
Yesterday, I updated some of my tools on my ipod touch 2g 3.0 firmware, including backgrounder and sbsettings.
It respringed after the instalation, but when it was back on, it immediately started respringing again.
when it was done the second time, it started again.
and now it just wont stop respringing.
Ive tried rebooting, but as soon as its back on, it resprings again.
can someone help me?

use a file transfer program (SSH,ifunbox,diskaid,...ect) and try to delete the things you downloaded/upgraded from the rootfs. If it will let you connect.
If not, restore.

you need to either reinstall 3.0 or download ifunbox and SSH into the phones directories where you upgraded apps and tools and delete them. what happened is your files directory got reset to false permissions. you need to run sbsettings (if you have it and IF you can run it) and "fix user permissions" under (first swipe the status bar) more\extras & options\fix user dir permissions..
but, if i were you id just install 3.1.2 and use blackra1n to jailbreak\unlock.

I solved it now.
I was smart enough to prepare for something like that by setting activator to putting theipod in safe mode if i tap the upper bar twice.
Before respringing, the ipod left me just enought time to do that, i went into safe mode, deleted something and now everything's fine.
