iOS4 works with Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)

Having flashed iOS4 onto my iPhone 3G I can CONFIRM that the iphone on iOS4 plays nice with Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx).

In order to complete the list, it would be useful to have confirmation (or not) for each of the different devices.

iPhone 1 = FW 3.1.3 = OK (Syncing music OK / File Transfer OK)
iPod Touch 1G = FW 3.1.3 = OK (Syncing music OK / File Transfer OK)
iPod Touch 2G = FW 3.1.3 = OK (Syncing music OK / File Transfer OK)
iPod Touch 3G = FW 3.1.3 = OK (Syncing music OK / File Transfer OK)
iPhone 3G = FW 3.1.3 = OK (Syncing music OK / File Transfer OK)

some explanation on how you successfully synced and transferred files inside linux would be great

Download Ubuntu 10.04 LTS ISO
Boot it ...
When you get to the desktop plug in your iphone.... Do be aware that whatever you sync on ubuntu will be wiped out by itunes...

In my case I'm using Ubuntu as my primary OS (have been for 4 years now)...
As mine is installed I have automatically downloaded the latest updates but I have done nothing else aside of enabling the restricted libraries (for mp3 and mp4 codecs as these are closed source).

Wherever I go I take the ubuntu CD with me and amaze people with their iphones...
