iOS 4.1 has been released (DO NOT UPDATE-Wait 4 JB)
The iPhone Dev-Team has issued a warning to remind users not to update to the new iOS 4.1 firmware.

Apple today released iOS 4.1 for the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, second-, third-, and fourth-generation iPod touch. The update brings a number of bug fixes and new features, including a fix for the iPhone 4’s proximity sensor, Bluetooth issues, and performance problems on the iPhone 3G. Notably, the iPhone 3G is left out amongst its iOS 4.1-capable peers in support for Apple’s new Game Center social gaming service, which is also included in the update, along with support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography on the iPhone 4, HD video uploading over Wi-Fi, and support for TV show rentals from the iTunes Store. iOS 4.1 is available now as a free upgrade for all compatible devices via the update feature in iTunes

Think he just meant he's waiting for a jailbreak for his iphone 4. I'll pass on updating tho. Although I hope that slow issue on da 3Gs is fixed like da 3g iphone. Clearly you could see apple wants user to buy another iphone since they won't give users the game room and shit. I dont see why not give it to them. Its not like ram is the issue

Initial reports are saying 4.1 does nothing for those with the 3G iPhone. Sorry. Your antenna works without a case though right? Personnaly I'm still using my Jay-z limited addition AT&T exclusive cell phone.
Ps. Did they JB 4.1 yet? Lol!

If you click on iTunes menu Help/Check for updates it will give you 4.1
Just don't click on Download and Update if you want to keep your jailbreak
