IFile superuser privelages

I have seen many posts here reguarding problems with installing deb files and not having superuser privelages but I have different questions. I dont really see a need for installing deb files with ifile and when I do I use terminal. But when I try to move things for rename files and such sometimes it says it cannot move/rename. I know on a computer this can mean that the program does have the correct privelages (ie. On windows seven when you are required to right click and choose run as admin) is there a way to give ifile "administrator" (superuser) privileges so that it can move and rename files or is this something totally different? Any help is appreciated

Try this: In terminal type su (su means super user) then type your password (default password is alpine)

Hit Thanks if I helped!

This is not a terminal issue. It's usually an issue with the ifile from the repo you got it from. I suggest you download the original cracked deb, then uninstall the current ifile using terminal an install the original after respring. You will get your proper privileges back
