new itunes broke appsync

I update the the latest 10.1.1 itunes and my appsync no longer works on any of my phones. I then downgraded back to 10.0.0 and it still doesnt sync.

Does anyone know of a way to wipe it so that it can sync my apps again?

app synch works fine but wifi sync does not..

No sync works for me even after downgrading.

Try getting appsync from a different source. I use sinful's, but you can get it from a few places.

Yeah I tried that but no luck. It's happening to all 3 of my phones which had been working fine before the update on my pc

Have you maybe tried a different cable and usb port? I don't know, I'm kind a reaching here but anything simple like that I'd try.

Yeah I just tried that. It tells me determining app to sync then says finishing sync. Apps downloaded from the app store are fine , but any using installous won't sync from any of my phones

From experience i can say that the latest itunes is needed to restore with the latest firmware apple releqased .

iOs 4.3 is the latest that is released soon.

But the 3g is not supported by this firmware anymore,so from my point of view

(if you dont have a newer iDevice then a 3g )

was the update for nothing useful exept = some trouble .

Deinstall iTunes and all of his hidden components like in Win 7

C:\Users\Your account name\AppData and in all of the 3 folders local ,local low,roaming are itunes things .

Also delete all itunes things in your c:\ Music folder.

Use the search function and delete all apple stuff .

Download again 10.0 the one that worked for you and letz hope it works again .

Oh yea the Appdata folder is by default hidden = you need to make it manually visible in system control pannel / folder options/ and set the by default hidden system files to visible..

Good luck man ..

I dont ever needed for itunes to restore my windows !That would be the missing part that adds up to make my hate about itunes complete

this thing happened to me too, I was only able to fix it by restoreing, I tried formatting my laptop, resetting all settings on my device and iTunes, rejailbreaking and syncing on another PC and nothing helped other than a restore, I even installed Appsync from sinfulrepo and ******* but nothing worked, it just stopped working even though I didn't install anything from Cydia but at that time my last sync was 30/12/2010 and the time I found out Appsync stopped working was 4/1/2011! I don't know what happened everything went crazy on my device once this year started while on my bro's device (itouch 4G) nothing went wrong

It's def itunes. I had this same problem but with 4.0. Apps wont transfer to itunes. It never worked.

In the installous app, under settings, there is an "on" and "off" button for syncing with iTunes. is that turned on? Mine's turned on + Appsync 4.2 + latest iTunes = working fine.

Don't need to do any of that... I use the latest iTunes and app sync works fine. Make sure you get it from Hac-kulous, and in iTunes right click on your devices and select "reset warnings" when asked to sync new apps say yes but DO NOT check "remember this option" or your apps WILL NOT sync

If its still not working, try downloading a free app from the AppStore, then try syncing again.

It solved my issue when iTunes wasnt syncing apps from my device.

I was having this problem. It would start the sync process, then exit without syncing.

To fix, in iTunes, in the left hand pane, right click your phone and choose 'Reset Warnings'.

Then, attempt to sync again. It will most likely tell you that 'application x is not registered for your phone - go to authorise your computer'.

In the Apps tab of your phone, de-select this invalid app, and retry the sync.

I'm no expert, but there might be some device-specific metadata embedded in the app, preventing certain apps from syncing, which stops the whole process.

It worked for me, anyway.
