First of all thanks for these official FW downloads. Next step is to implement one in an ATV2. I have to downgrade my ATV2 (no jailbreak, v4.4.4) to 4.4.1 or less. Reason: I want to use the ATV2 on an audio system and airplay/iTunes cannot find the ATV since the update to v 4.4.2 (that is what Apple Support told me, can anyone confirm?). The ATV is only tracable when attached to a TV (and some time afterwards, attached to audio. I guess until standbye. To find the ATV after that, I have to attach to a TV again).
Now I have a downgrade file, I would like to know how to do this in a easy/convenient way. I cannot find a guideline how to downgrade.
It would be of great help if you (Multipazz) or someone else can help.

Really convenient. That sounds good.
But I still do not know how to downgrade in a convenient way.
I hope someone is willing to assist, passing me a link to a guideline (that I cannot find anywhere).
Multipazz, maybe you can be of assistance to instruct how to use your restore.ipsw files.

One step further in my search.
Connect ATV to laptop with micro USB cable.
Start iTunes. On ATV screen enter shift button and click on restore.
In a popup screen you can select the desired downloaded ipsw file (e.g. by Multipazz).
Everything good so far but....
I receive the message 'ATV cannot be recovered. Unknown error (3194)' .
Now searching for the reason of this error message. Can be anythng. Any support for the solution is appreciated!

Have you got your SHSH blobs saved for the firmware your trying to downgrade to? If not then you can't downgrade sorry

I am going to jailbreak my bosses atv2 tomorrow
he wants to play AVI files ect
I have downloaded seasonpass and made the custom firmware
I have also downloaded atv flash black
what else do i need to allow him to easily watch and stream different formats
I have searched our small ATV section but didnt find very much
a little help bro?

I only have xbmc installed on my ATV
that does everything i need 
i would use nito installer instead of flash
although none of these tools were available when i set up mine..
it was all done on ssh and command line 
I didnt use the sinful ATV repo... but it looks cool and well worth a look
