[Solved] 3GS stuck in DFU mode

PLEASE HELP !!!!

I restored "iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Custom_Restore_SiNfuL_iPhone_2" IPSW on my 3GS (new bootrom) and it is stuck in DFU mode !

used iREB-r4 to get pass error in itunes (10.2.2)

please please help !

why use custom 3.1.2?

why not 4x firmware?

do you have shsh saved?

it is stuck in DFU (black screen)

actually it had 4.x installed on it previously and someone used factory reset on it then it stuck on connect to itune screen and itune showing invalid sim error. So i figured i just install custom 3.1.2 rom and everything will be ok

so can i restore another one like 4.x something ??? will it do the job ?

and nothing saved (no shsh no backup .. got this device in the above mentioned state)

you cannot downgrade if you don't have you shsh blobs saved, you'll have to upgrade to 4.3.2 now or 4.3.1 as Apple is only signing those two but they are both jailbroken(untethered), I personally recommend 4.3.2 as the battery life etc is much better then 4.2.1 and 4.3.1

Thanks for the info ... i just downloaded iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Custom_Restore_SiNfuL_iPhone_1.ipsw ... will it work ? or will it cause more trouble

What is your modem firmware version?

Go to settings/general/about/modem firmware

If its good you can download ultrasnow in cydia

Let us now what firmware you have

only solution is update to iPad bb.06.15 via redsn0w 0.9.6r9 but you will lose GPS possibly

you may not lose gps but theres a 50% chance you will

thank you guys .. This is what i did and everything is working fine now:

1. Restored to ios 4.3.2
2. used redsnow (latest) to jailbreak, install cydia and update my baseband to ipads BB.
3. used ultrasnow to unlock

and everything works ok ! ... thanks to every one who helped
