HELP!! IPhone 4 went from 32GB to 16GB

Hi, i have just bought an Iphone 4 32gb that was at 4.0 firmware with baseband. 1.59.00 since jailbreakme.com will not jailbreak the 4.0 firmware. i decided to use ifaith to store my shsh blob and then build the firmware for 4.3.3 ipsw. then use redsn0w to put it in dfu mode and restore the firmware using itunes. then after the restore. it went to 32GB to 16GB. how is that possible? this is so weird. and also it changed my serial also.. or is it possible that the guy that i bought the phone from actually clone the phone with some other phone system firmware or emei or something like that.? cause when i bought the phone i went to settings and about. it say the phone have 29. something gb and the firmware was 4.0 and baseband 01.59.00
I am so confused. Please Help Me..

No, I did not make any partition. when i bought the phone. it was not Jailbroken. did have no jailbroken software on it or anything. I went home. try to save the shsh blob on tinyumbrella. it only allow me to save it as 4.3.5 and above. so i save it with both tinyunbrella and ifaith. i also look around to see if there is any jailbreak for the 4.0 firmware. there was none. so i decide to use ifaith to save it and create an ipsw. then i update it to 4.3.3 with that custom ipsw. it work perfectly but then it changes from 32gb to 16gb. this is so weird. i have never run into this before.

as said before the about page is easily spoofed..

if there was no jailbreak..

they could have used an SSH ramdisk to edit the information
even on a non jailbroken device !!!

Probably jailbroke it, changed the page and then deleted Cydia of the springboard. then it is hard to tell if it is jailbroken or not.

There is a lesson to be learned here... This may be stupid, but it doesn't have the (flash) size of the iphone on the back of the case, like it does on my ipod touch 4G?

I suggest buying use iPhones from well known retailers or trustworthy friends, otherwise you have no one else to blame except yourself if something bad happen.

Settings>general>about> if the capacity is around 16 gigs then you have a 16 if its closer to 32 well then duh ya got a 32

What firmware are you currently on? if ya still on 4.0 like the device came with when ya bought it you can use jailbreakeme.com to jb right on device and then cydia will save ya shsh for you.
