NBA TV App (Watch NBA Games) Tutorial

NBA.TV App for US

In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to get the NBA.TV app (UK App store) running. This will enable you to watch your NBA games for free (so far).

There will be two methods in this tutorial, please use the one for your device (s).

iPhone

1. This method has been currently tested on iPhone 4 (iOS 5.0.1)
2. Things you will need:
a. LocationSpoofer (NOT FAKELOCATION WILL NOT WORK)
b. iAP Cracker
c. iTunes Account for UK (will go into this)
d. Love for the NBA
3. The first thing that you need to do is get on a VPN and be connected to the UK. With this, you will have to create an account based in the UK in order to download this app. (Google will help here if your lost)
a. Make the account on a PC/MAC (it’ll be easier)
b. Also make an account with NBA.TV for the UK (NBA.TV) You might need it.
c. However you MUST sign in with the account on your phone as well for this to work.
d. Once the account has been created install the app, DO NOT OPEN.
4. Now that you have the game installed, make sure you install iAP Cracker and LocationSpoofer (no particular order)
a. Set your location to UK, London
5. Go open the app and click “More” and then you should see NBA League Pass Buy” option, with the iAP cracker it’ll confirm and say “thanks for your purchase”
6. You can login back into your itunes regular account on your device afterwards
7. Enjoy

iPad
1. This method has been currently tested on iPad 2 (iOS 4.3.3)
2. Repeat steps 2-6
3. Changes (Possibly)
a. I’m not sure if this is working because of iAP Cracker or Free trial
b. If so, download iPhone App on your iPad and follow same guidelines. And use RetinaPad to get better quality
4. You can login back into your itunes regular account on your device afterwards

the games are free until january 9 2012 so the real challenge is, will it work after january 9?

Does free preview apply to UK folks as well?

Im not sure but ive been watching all of the games from my iphone after xmas & on the actual nba league pass website it says the games are free until jan 9 2012...go to the website and see if it applys for UK aswell

i cant download this app, it says it requires 4.3, i'm running 4.2.1... Anyway around this(besides updating)?

Does anybody know of any free VPN services that are compatible for iPhone? I googled it and looked for almost an hour but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

hey, i am trying to sign up for a UK iTunes account to directly download the NBA.tv app UK, however, when it keeps asking me for a valid UK credit card. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way around this?

There is no need to use a VPN. From your PC just go to the direct link here:http://itunes.apple.com/in/app/nba.tv/id484672289?mt=8 and create your account (just google a hotel for your address in the UK and use a different e-mail address than your current apple id e-mail). After you create the account, on your iDevice, open Settings>store> tap on your email ID and sign out. Then sign back in with your new UK account and search/download NBA.tv in the appstore.

If you create account directly on itunes store then it will ask for CC when you try to download app.

So
first go to app link and click "Install/Free/Buy" then it will ask to login. Then create the account. It will not ask for Credit card.

I've been doing what you guys have been telling me to do all along in the U.K. store. I select none from the billing information screen and enter all the required fields to continue. However, then it tells me "Please Contact Technical Support to Complete this Transaction." Just to be clear, this is at the billing information screen, not when I am trying to download an application. I know for sure I am doing everything right so I think something else is wrong. Can one of you guys please make the account for me since you have it working? It'll only take two minutes. Here are the credentials you can make for the acount:
E-mail Address - amitojkapoor+12@gmail.com
Password - Yankees639
The rest of the information can be random. And if your wondering about the "+12", don't. it doesn't matter. I've made many other accounts with it.
Please help me out.

Nvm guys. I tried it from a different computer and it worked flawlessly. Just got 1 question though. Is it possible to make a register a league pass account to the purchase?

Now the dream is to try to creat an account and watch it on the PC do you think it will work ??

It will not work cos if you try to login on pc it will ask for a legit username/password & if you try to register from the app it will ask you to log in ur appstore account
