Anyone tried this hardware "hacking"?

...have anyone seen that someone managed to cramp 3G(s) electronic under 2G body? As far as I have seen the biggest diference is in antenna, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't work with 2G antenna re-soledred to 3G electronic somehow.
That 2G cases are realy the best even 4 years later...(imho)

There's a much bigger difference. You'd probably have to rip the logic board apart just to do a simple swap which - always, isn't possible - will have some sort of part MAGIC NUMBER differences.
