Not possible to update to 5.0.1 if you don't have the SHSH's. You're only other option is to either stay on 4.3.3 and jb it using the several tools available (redsn0w, JailbreakMe, PwnageTool, or sn0wbreeze) or wait for the 5.1 jb. Keep in mind, the 5.1 jb is released for A4 users (including the iPhone 4) but it's currently only the tethered jb. To get the tethered 5.1 jb, you will need the latest redsn0w or sn0wbreeze-- Read more about it by: Clicking here or here

@Maximo-lider: I suggest you stay on 4.3.3 and jailbreak it.

But before you jailbreak the 4.3.3. on your iPhone. Use iFaith 1.4.2 to dump the current 4.3.3 shsh blob for your iPhone and save the file. It is for you to perform restore if you encounters issue at the later stage. Search for iFaith and follow the tutorials.

You may also wish to be more specific in your title so that others who are looking for the answer can find it in the future.

Moreover, this is a Device Specific / iPhone 4 question and it's not supposed to be in General Help. Do your part to make this forum a kick-ass one (even if it already is).

Title amended and thread moved.
