My computer (window vista) don't recognize my ipod anymore , I tought the problem was the wire and try with my friend ipod, but it work perfectly. Also I tried to just boot with redsn0w, and it worked too, only problem it don't charge and it don't recognize so I can't use DiskAid. For the problem of charge when I use a charger it work so it's not a real pain, but I really want to use DiskAid so anyone has some sugestion ?
Heu nothing hapenned, I went to my computer, and the usual ipod isn't there. Also I can't go to Itune so I can't reset my ipod -_-', I really want the ios 5.1 but the downloading failed

I'm only wandering why I can "just boot" with redsn0w, whereas the computer don't recognize the ipod ^^'
I tried with the main computer and portable computer, still the problem remain -_-', I tought the problem was due to somethings that I install with Cidya so, right now I'm deleting the last things that I download but the problem remain, I don't really care losing all data, but just why Itune can't recognize it >_<
Try removing the device driver from Windows and then connect your device back...
if your PC still can't detect the device, remove iTunes, clean your registry then install the latest version of iTunes back.

I found the problem -_-', I have to instal the latest ios (5.1) in order for my computer to recognize it, but the problem is when I do it, at the end it says "failled to install", so I just have to to found out why it say that, I don't have any hint, if you have the same problem I had be glad to hear your "solution" ^^
