Its been 4 weeks. FOUR weeks since this post on Dev Team blog: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/1938...1/ipad-3-fever

Despite having three completely different methods to achieve jailbreaks, from what I understand.

I really do wonder what's taking them so long?

It's about appreciating the current untethered you are on. What's up with the rush to upgrade? I've said it before and I'll say it again; "if it ain't broken, don't fix it". I wish djmelee and multipazz would see this, I'm quoting the 'golden' rule again...

Instead, why not orientate yourself with the forum

I updated cause my 4s was crashing to often even though I tried a lot of troubleshooting.
All my apps are legal, one thing I miss is home button alt like zephyr, otherwise I'm surviving. Unfortunately with every new iOS and hardware update it become harder to stay in jailbreaking game and in my opinion there is no real alt to iPhone. Maybe iPhone 5 and iOS 6 will bring us closer to not needing hacking anymore

Thanks for the update. Does 5.1 really improve battery life?

Not really. I lost my jailbreak and updated to 5.1 in hopes that it would improve
the battery, but I haven't really noticed a difference.
The biggest difference for me was turning off 3G/cellular data (and other useless crap).

I sure do miss SBSettings, multifl0w, and activator though!

Pretty sure there's always lots of things to test out...maybe all of those people came to the same conclusion, and technically got their ipads 3 jailbroken, but there's still lots of issues that need ironing out.

I'd like to know what's involved in jailbreaking...but I strongly doubt anyone here could tell me. I know I could never do it, but for interests sake it'd be interesting to read about how exactly people did it on previous devices.

How long did the jailbreak for iphone 4 come out? iphone 4S? iPad 2? - these might give us an idea on how long we will have to wait.

I'm still enjoying my iPad 3 even without jailbreak...but I'm still hoping it comes anyday now

when ios5 first came out, everyone begged for a jailbreak... when people started working on it, people begged and begged for updates on progress AND for the jailbreak itself NON STOP for months and then it was finally released... why are you idiots making threads and begging more and more for something that you DO NOT PAY FOR and people are wokring on it FOR NOTHING only FOR US to have the ability to do all that we do... if you're stupid enough to ask if a jailbreak will be out for 5.1, then THROW YOUR IDEVICE IN YOUR TOILET, SH!T ON IT then feed it to your mom you worthless piece of junk... wait... use 5.0.1 and wait patiently for people to work on it THEN update to 5.1 (most useless update in the world if you ask me) so either way, sh!t on ur idevice... cuz ur all as useless as my battery in my 4s... (good going apple btw!!)

Been using iDevices since the original iPhone, been jailbreaking them since the beginning, but since there's so much time in between jailreaks/new devices/tweaks to fool around with, I decided to take things to the next level... Instead of fooling around, I'm taking it apart and putting it back together ten times better...

iTools is what you need! iTunes is what you need to UNINSTALL!!! iTools does what iTunes does and a hell of a lot more... Don't just copy music TO your iDevice, copy your iDevice music to your computer. Also has some great features for jailbroken users!

When you click the iTools link above, look on the top right of the page for the "ENGLISH" button!

People will always be people.

Someone will always ask...and I don't think it hurts much to ask in these forums, since the guys working on JB would likely not be regulars. Hounding them on twitter, or posting messages on their youtube videos is much worse...but again, you can't stop humans acting like that.

Not worth getting upset about mate
