4s ios 5.1 unlock

guys this is my first time posting. i m planning to buy a 4s at&t locked and thinking of jaibreaking and unlocking it. is there any way 2 do it or shud i wait. i see all those sites giving softwares fo 19 dollars. are they real. and is there a way to unlock at ios5.1 which has bb- 4.12.01 FOR FREE. waaaaaaaaaa

They are not for real
There is not unlock for 4.12.01

Best chance is to call AT&T if it is off contract or you payed full retail

However if you want a 4S on the other hand there is no jailbreak for 5.1
Also the baseband will be 2.0.10
This can be unlocked with Gevey Ultra S
Lastly you might as well buy an unlocked one

umm. i know but jailbreak for 5.1 is there. only no unlock i presume. also on 5.1 is bb 2.0.10 or 4.12.01??? will see unlock. vry confused. want it badly but the unlocked is a tad too high on my budget.

You'll have the tethered jailbreak though which is basically a pain.

No such luck about modifying the baseband on 4s as no bootrom exploit has been found yet.

k found about this rebel x sim and the vid did look convincing. shud i go for it. also what is the baseband of out of the box 4s on ios 5.1 if anybody knows. thnks in advance....

You should buy a gevey ultra S from applenberry.com

I really don't get it
You live in india

That means you don't have AT&T or Verizon or Sprint
Why not just buy an unlocked one since you will need to buy it full retail anyways (they are the same price)

Why not just order the R-SIM III, they ship to India also it is far cheap than gevey.
