Applications:If you need to have access to office softwares quite ofen. I suggest you to install Keynote, Pages, and Goodreader.
ComicGlass : a very good app to read comics.
Tuneln Radio: a lot of radio stations
Games:Fruit Nija, Angry Birds (many versions) and Cut the Rope are three of most popular games in Apple Store.
Paper Toss 2 : a fabulous time killer

Come on! You do not buy a 4S to play fruit ninja, angry birds or that kind of crap.
Go get some hardcore games: Max Payne, GTA III, GTA3 CW, Chaos Rings 1, CR Omega, CR 2, Aralon, The Bard's Tale, Sky Gamblers, Galaxy on Fire, Dangerous, Real Racing 2, Death Rally, Reckless Racing 2, Need for Shit..., Total War Battles, Great Little War Game, Wasted Land, The War of Eustrath, Highborn, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Modern Combat 1,2 and 3, Splinter Cell, Anomaly, Plants vs. Zombies, Carcassonne, Neuroshima Hex, Canabalt, Minecraft PE, Dark Meadow, Myst, Osmos, Zen Bound.

Thanks Guys for the lists, now i will be waiting for the jailbreak to be released to install all that lovely games , also i will enjoy playing some of theme on tv with tv mirroring using hdmi cable.

This is really opinion than anything. U have a jailbroken 4s try all the games you care and delete the ones you hate. Go to the AppStore or installous or appcake and click to sort by popularity
