Install apps without cydia on a stock iDevice.
Hi,
Is there a way to install apps without cydia?
I want to install Lockinfo but my iphone 4s is not jailbroken and the iOS is 5.1

As already stated, it's impossible to install Cydia tweaks without a jailbreak. You'll have to wait for a jb to get released.

A real elaborate guide with many steps. All leading up to alt + F4.

Yeah thats kinda dumb you need to be jailbroken first then think about installing apps , Polite asnwer is you wait until pod2g release his 5.1 jailbreak a month later or make your own.

pod2g has been successful tethered jailbreak
I am not sure if he would release his work. He may wait until iOS 6

TRolling aside... You can install cydia tweaks without cydia(if you removed it) with ifile by tapping the deb and hitting install. Everyone assumes Cydia = Jailbreak. It is just a graphical front-end from aptitude.

Apps can be cracked and resigned to work on a non jailbroken device .... But tweaks are a different ball game, refer to the post above this.

Can't use iFile to install anything if you're not jailbroken though 
The OP was asking if he can install Cydia apps (Lockinfo) without a jb. iResign is only for AppStore apps...but as far as installing any Cydia tweaks/apps without a jailbroken device, that's not possible
