I've done a a Jailbreak on my 4s but I'm still on 5.01 (9A406). Had really bad battery problems and follow the advice above - and yes a good improvement BUT couple of things I've also found that helps. Run the battery down to 0% then recharge to full - (I use Battery Doctor). I've also found that a basic Reset helps too. Right now Ive had 9 hours and 23 minutes usage and Standby at 1 Day, 19 Hours.

I guess no one knows about the highly elusive "thanks button" or else this thread would be 3 posts long

Though this may not be appetizing to many of you... winterboard is a biggy for drawing battery... but of course thats more of a last resort kinda 'my phone is dying' case

When ever i need a location service i will switch it on i.e using maps apps like foursquare and GPS and if not it will be switch off.

Does this method required the location services to be switch on permanently?
