maybe ill do it tonight

i had originally downloaded spite 2.4 from ihacks and that crashed my phone on 5.1 so i just went to 5.1.1...ill see if 2.3 works on it

And you MUST boot tethered after installing Spite
No issues with 2.4 on iOS 5.1 here?

yea idk what happened with mine, i shut off my phone went to boot tethered and it just froze on the pineapple. After three tries of that for 30 minutes each i gave up

did you try the volume button..
Holding while booting so you go into safe mode?

That was in the mobilesubstrate update..

well anyway 2.4 works flawlessly on 5.1.1

it doesn't work flawlessly for me. It causes my phone to seriously lag and some of my apps to crash ever since installing

Does anybody know how to correctly install the fix pack? Because it says don't press reboot go to redsn0w and just boot. But you need dfu. So I powered off (normally) and it never booted. Pls help.

I had the same problem. I didsconnected my phone then ran the just boot tethered again. It took like 5 minutes but my phone is back

Does it really work flawlessly? I go the VIP repo (without paying for some reason) and it says the fix pack isn't compatible yet.
