Can you tell me what ads your getting?

Then I can go ahead and block them.

I'm currently blocking 95% of ads problem free.

I'm getting AOL Mobile ads and a bunch of other app store game ads in one app, not sure who the ad provider is though. How can i find this out?

Why do you want it zipped? Are you using it in the SBAdblock toggle, cause if you are, the mediafire link isn't going to work since it points to this one instance of the file, its not going to get updated, and therefore doesn't have to be in SBToggle, you can just rem out the lines mentioned before and make this host file your AdBlockOn_hosts file.

[basicreece] since you are updating your host pretty frequently, would you mind hosting the latest version somewhere, (kinda like otosan is doing?) on a site like dropbox, or skydrive, etc

If you install via the repo it installs a sbsettings toggle to switch on and off.
Much easier for you pulling pleasure lol

to get the above dropbox link to work (in sbadblock) change the wget line to this

wget https://dl.dropbox.com/s/5xzj6luwy3z807l/hosts?dl=1 -O /tmp/adblock_hosts --no-check-certificate

and remove/rem out the bunzip line

bunzip2 /tmp/adblock_hosts.bz2

basicreece: if you could, you might want to continue the 'zip' part of the logic since the file is mildly large for 3g (1.2megs) but if you zip it, its down to about 50K ... just for those times were the connection is 'iffy'?

888media is actually blocked but still shows a white screen, but is blocked.
Dynamo ads is a Pain in the ass to block. I've been trying for ages.
Be patient an ill see what I can get done.

BReece mate just a quick report regarding newest package on repo:
It looks like there is size mismatch between original file and the one they got ova there.
Can you mby check their incase somebody added something malicious to hosts?
It might be false positive but it is worth checking imo...
In case they updated it i spot the diffrence on 30/05 @ 5pm GMT0 time.

no, but you can block ads in installous and other apps with adblocker 1.30. search in the cydia cracked apps section .

I don't want to install adblocker or anything else, which is why I asked. they bog down my phone and cause crazy problems.
