Pandora XBMC plugin (Update 06-09-12)

The script brings Pandora to XBMC. Pandora radio is the personalized internet radio service that helps you find new music based on your old and current favorites. By utilizing the wealth of musicological information stored in the Music Genome Project, Pandora recognizes and responds to each individual's tastes. The result is a much more personalized radio experience - stations that play music you'll love - and nothing else.

Installation:
1. SSH the downloaded zip file to /var/mobile/
2. Open XBMC
3. Go to System > Settings > Add-ons > “Install From ZIP” select the plugin zip.

Once it is enabled you can find it under Music add-ons

Troubleshooting:
If you are having problems running v. 1.2.10
Replace your pandora.py located in:

For ApplyTV ssh to: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata
For Mac: Applications, right click on XBMC, select Show Package Contents, then open the folders contents, Resources, XBMC, userdata
For Windows: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.xbmc.pandora\libpa ndora

With pandora.py

Please remember that Pandora needs to pay royalties for the music they play, and it's the ads which they show on their site that allow them to do so. If you intend to use this script extensively please consider upgrading to a Pandora One account to support them and keep the music flowing. You may also wish to use a separate account for this script just in case they decide to start disabling accounts or something, don't want to loose all your stations and such.

Only Mods have the ability to do that. Also, thats not what the sticky section is for.

hey bee. i have installed and reinstalled and it wont work. any suggestions? it says i can enable it but nothing shows up in music.

Operating system doesn't matter. Follow the install steps. Once you have installed form zip file. Go back to the main menu. Go to music. Select music add ons. It should be there.

hi everybody i have loaded xbmc pandora script v1.210, in xbmc on my windows 7 pc, now the addon is present but it gives me a user authentication error, it asks me to check the username and password , which are correctly installed. can someone lend a hand with this issue? im not very computer savy, but not totaly ignorant any help would be great thank you.

It's working fine folks, just need the new script and in addon settings change audio format to mp3 or aacplus.
