because you need to either do iFaith mode first and stitch in your SHSH blobs for 5.1.1 becuase now 5.1.1r1 is the current build. or run tinyumbrella TSS server while restoring with phone in pwned DFU for either method. that should fix your problems.

if you want to cover all your bases do what i did

do iFaith mode -> stitch your shsh blobs in -> add custom packages if none click create ipsw (make sure you add ssh from the get go its just safer) then create the ipsw. -> open TU start tss server for shits and giggles -> pwned DFU your iphone -> shift + click and restore using your CFW -> profit.

that should work. if any problems report back with results and we will try to help you. just dont be loud and agro or people will be less likely to help you.

ifaith mode works fine i been jailbreaking since when the iphone 2g came out
but why they put sime ple mode on sn0wbreeze if the shit doenst work

wooow never mind lol simple mode does work all u have to do is edit your host and deleted 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
#127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
and dont use tinyumbrella or you'll get error 11

I'm not using sn0wbreeze any-more, it all-ways give me battery drain problem. now after using sn0wbreeze for 1½year i used redsn0w for first time, and get problem solved. I never knew it, and i hear about the problem before with other users that used sn0wbreeze. it could not be true that i just have 1½ day battery.

Now i have battery time double up with 50%. with redsn0w :-) And up to 3days. my iphone is back to normal.

thanks this is ..just got a quick question, have a iphone 3gs i was given that was ruined by them installing the ipad bootloader modem thingy as an old 3gs when in fact it was a new type 3gs which of course led to the bluetooth/modem/wifi beign greyed out. It also has the random reboot, I know I can only restore with custom firmware and seeing they goofed up doing the above on 5.01 i tried making a custom firmware for 5.1.1 and successfully upgraded, unfortunately all three radios are still greyed out, I kinda was expecting that to be fixed with the 5.1.1. being newer possibly fixing that issue but apparently they re still greyed out and random reboots on 5.1.1 even though its still jailbroken
wondering if there is anyone that successfully fixed that issue this way? I also read that its considered physically unrepairable/ anyone can confirm this? also is there any side trick or something to at least prevent the reboot after minute or so so at least i can use it to play games and not worry about the already damaged radios?

Finally got it to work.
I was trying it with 'Run as Administrator'. I copied the files to other Drive and opened Sn0wbreeze normally and all went well.
