Apple is always behind in hardware. What makes you think the 5 will be any different.
The iphones biggest attribute is apps, PERIOD

I think it's iOS that keeps iPhone on top. When I got my first iPhone ( a 3G). My son was 2 years old. He could barely talk and of course not read. But aside from needing me to enter the password sometimes he could search the AppStore and install games. It proves people know how to use an iPhone naturally.
When I pick up a droid I feel like I need a Manuel.

Because apple arnt stupid and won't release another iphobe4 but with more ram. The iphone4 has been out years and is still my favourite phone.
Android fones have a lifespan of 3 weeks before another "iPhone beater wannabe " comes out

Guys i love my iphone trust me. But you know what i see is true. LTE and 4G is way faster on other devices. Moled and damn better graphics also.
I do agree ios is very user friendly and the apps make the whole experience seemless

Yeah but where I live I can't even get 3G and god knows how long it's going to take for 4G to appear. I also own a sensation and while it's faster than the iPhone for raw speed, the OS feels like its in beta, always crashing, freezing apps, pages not loading etc. doesn't bother me if the s3 had 8 cores and 30 faster than a ps3. Apps are nasty and the experience lacks polish of iOs.
The s3 is a brand new phone that's main rival is a 2/3 year old iPhone4(with Siri)
I'm sure apple will wow everyone very soon once again....

I'm buying my wife an S3. I've jail broken her ip4 and with the glitchy shit that comes w it fr time to time, it's just to much for her to deal w as someone who's not tech suavy. She needs a stock device that has all this right out of the box. APPLE NEEDS THIS KICK IN THE NUTS! I think it's bull that we as iDevice owners go through all this pain to get our simple tweaks. Let's just hope that apples learns from this and the ios6 and more importantly the ip5 makes up the difference.

Your saying an android device has less "glitchy shit" than an iphone? jesus H christ! Everytime i use my sensation i get a "internet has crashed and recovered" error, the screen jerks when scrolling, battery life is shocking, apps are crap etc. The iphone works beautifully out of the box.
I dont know about you but i dont go through any pain to sort my phone out. takes 5 mins to jailbreak then another 10 adding the cydia repos and installing sbsettings.
Once you have spent 4 hours of your life rooting and hacking an android with custom roms and bricking it, youl realise how simple and relaiable an iphone is.
The point of the iphone is that it doesnt have stupid widgets and shit that drains the battery and eats the ram, If your phone doesnt do what you want it to do and you feel the need to completely change it to make you happy....
then go get an android phone, im sure all 23 members at sinful android will be happy to welcome you.

Surely 9 million people getting an S3 saves this forum from being overwhelmed with 9 million people trying to jailbreak 9 million iphones, as a theory it would stop anyone getting on,like denial of service maybe, but not everyone can choose the right phone to have , some must fall by the wayside (samsung)

Yeah
And considering the brands they are choosing, it might be really the best when those guys end up @ any Androshit forum but not here.

I had the 4s for about 3 days and went back and swapped it for the s2 touch. i was rooting my wife's phone and started to like it. Its fast the camera is great At the time i couldn't jailbreak the 4s so i didn't want it. The thing i liked the most is that if you had to restore, you don't have to update.
People need to stop being so surprised that its doing so well. After all the iPhone is made up from Samsung parts.

lol you all really need to read reviews and what not before you open your mouth... sorry
but the galaxy S3 will be the standard for almost any other "phone" out there
the Super amoled + screen is led back lit and has more pixles in a area then the iphone 4 or 4s
there for everything will look scrisp and since its led and not actually back lit it will use less power keeping the screen on...
and as for iphone 4 battery life... i can scream about that i have had my iphone 4 32gb version since alittle after christmas and already it doesnt last longer than maybe a half a days straight use. I pick up my buddy's droid charge it can go all damn day playing games and music where as my iphone can only go about like 6 hours of either... and not to mention on his phone you can pop the back off and replace the battery if needed... and the droid charge came out before the 4s and has better specs... and frankly new technology means better better life. and having the ability to grab a "better" battery to put in the damn phone to make it run longer would be an awesome addition to the iphone. I love my iphone 4 but i cannot stand the shitty battery life or the crappy hardware ... i like that it now has a N intenna for wifi, and the camera other then that it is out dated as hell... the difference between the 4 and the 4s is just a core swap and maybe a wee bit ram... other then that same POS im about ready to switch after having all apple phones for a long long time.
just my 2 cents
and and link to a review for the phone
Samsung Galaxy S3 review | from TechRadar's expert reviews of Mobile phones
sorry went on a bit of a rant

4S is much faster than the 4... but yes the S2 was to compete with the 4S and it lost
