if that is you want on your iphone you canno't unlock it. Cause the only solution you have is to upgrade your base band to 6.15 using redsnOw and install ultrasnOw. . .

My iPhone 3g 3.1.2ios baseband 05.11.07 mistakenly updated to 4.2.1ios and the results is "stuck up to iTunes Screen".here is the solution;
1.Run latest tiny umbrella, make sure under adv tab : uncheck > set hosts file to cydia, close it.
2.Put your iphone into DFU mode > run itunes : shift + restore to stock 4.1 ipsw.Error 1015 will pop up.
3.Now run Tiny Umbrella and use Exit recovery to kick out error 1015. You will be taken to emergency screen.
4.Jailbreak it with Redsn0w 0.9.6b6..
After this program you will noticed that the baseband is stuck up to 05.15.04 and locked to network,all you gonna do is;
5.Download Redsn0w 0.9.6 Beta 5 and iOS 4.1 IPSW
6.Start Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 and point it to iOS 4.1 IPSW
Note: if you use an older version of Redsn0w, you may get unrecognizable IPSW error. Make sure you use Redsn0w 0.9.6 Beta 5.
7.Once Redsn0w recognized your iOS 4.1 ipsw => click next, you will see a screen with several options => check on “Install iPad baseband” (this will trigger the baseband upgrade) => then choose Yes.
8.Now Redsn0w will ask you to put your iPhone in DFU mode.
9.Simply follow the steps provided by Redsn0w to go into DFU.
10.Simply follow the next few steps to finish. Be patient when it download the baseband. It may take a few minutes but it will be done eventually.That's it.
Next on How to Unlock 06.15.00 baseband
1.If you have followed the steps above, it is now very easy to unlock your iPhone. Simply start Cydia
2.Choose “user” mode
3.Upgrade any packages if required
4.Now click on the “Manage” button
5.Click on “Sources” => the unlock source should already be there for you
6.Click on repo666.ultrasn0w.com
7.Click on ultrasn0w
8.Click on Install on the top right => once installed, reboot your iPhone => once rebooted, reboot your iPhone once more
Now insert your SIM if you have not done so, your iPhone should now be unlocked. If the signal says “searching…” just be patient, it will be done in just a couple of minutes.
How to Downgrade 06.15.00 on iPhone 3G to unlock and Fixed GPS
1.Download RedSn0w and the firmware that your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 3G is currently running:
-Download iPhone 4.1 iOS
-Download RedSn0w 0.9.14b2
2.Extract the RedSn0w zip file or mount the image if you’re in Mac OS;
Now launch the RedSn0w (Windows 7/Vista users: right-click on RedSn0w > Run as Administrator);
3.Click Jailbreak button. RedSn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data;
Now check mark the Downgrade from iPad baseband checkbox, RedSn0w will present you with a warning read it carefully and click Yes. Disable Cydia (if you already have it installed), and click Next;
4.Plug your iPhone 3G to your computer and make sure it’s OFF. Do a controlled shutdown of your iPhone (“slide to power off”). This step is very important to avoid mount problems when the ramdisk is running! Now click Next.
5.Now RedSn0w will guide you through the steps to put your iPhone into DFU mode. Follow the on-screen instruction to put your iPhone into DFU mode.
Release the Power (corner) button for 3 seconds
Without releasing the Power button, also hold down the Home button for 10 seconds
Without releasing the Home button, release the Power button BUT keep holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.
6.As soon as your iPhone enters DFU mode, RedSn0w will begin jailbreaking your device. Once the jailbreak process is completed, RedSn0w will tell you that rest of the process will be performed on the device.
7.You see the Pwnapple running on your iPhone, you’ll eventually get to the “Flashing Baseband” step. THIS STEP TAKES A VERY LONG TIME to complete and there won’t be any feedback while its running. Please just let it be for the next 3-8 minutes! When the ramdisk has done its job it will reboot the phone on its own.
After the reboot, your iPhone 3G will be running 05.13.04 baseband. You can unlock your iPhone 3G, Open Cydia, let it update, search for UltraSn0w and intsall it.
That’s it! don’t forget to share your experience in the comments section below…

I'm having the same problem here! My config is exactly as his.
But the thing is, I've already tried to update my BB to iPad's 6.15 with Redsn0w and now with Sn0wbreeze, and everytime is the same: my BB keeps as 05.15.04.
I thought maybe it was due my Bootloader (06.04), once I can't downgrade with Fuzzyband too.
Is it possible to upgrade? I don't know what else to do.
Thanks!
