hey ive got a 4s and jailbroke it back in jan when absinte first came out, now that 5.1.1 is jailbroken do i need to update to that and rejailbreak with the new absinte??

You don't have to, but if the claims to better battery life appeal to you, then it is worth putting into consideration.

My two cents, though: If everything is in working order, then don't fix what isn't broken.

im on 5.01 jb on my iphone3gs any 1 done any testing on battery life
for 5.1.1 im thinking of updating ///blobs from 5.0.1 are saved if i need to go bak

i get only maybe 8 hrs as a lite user i havnt seen alot of feedback on iphone3gs //

my iphone4 5.1.1 jb gets 2 days easy

Hey, the 3GS battery life i found was only half of my iphone4

I have found that my battery life is a bit better on 5.1.1

Its worth updating to try, make sure you can come back down if you dont like 5.1.1 though, it seems to be pretty good from the reports ive read.

yeah 3GS battery life is not an issue, matter of fact nothing else is except for finding a cheap iphone 4 mo fozz
