ipad2 ipad3

Hi all, am going to purchase an ipad today just wanted a few things cleared up. the main question is, is there much difference between the ipad2 and the ipad3 ? enough to warrent spending the extra £200 ? i have found refurb ipad2's for £299 at currys for 32gb wifi and sim. can anyone help with my decision or tell me a place i can get refurbed ipad3's ?

you can get a brand new ipad 2 from apple for 329.

dont think you will get refurb ipad 3 yet

i got both and i think the only thing is the screen resolution. ipad 3 wasnt worth it for me, but thats my opinion.

I'm personally glad I waited for the iPad 3. It was more expensive but the screen is beautiful and it runs super fast.

Yup same thing with me, I'm proud I didn't buy the iPad 2 cuz now we are going to get Siri!

Saw some tests between the Ipad 2 and 3 and in most speed tests the 2 was as quick as the 3 and in some cases faster

ipad 3 is better all round device,, but If you are poor then the ipad 2 is better for you... its that simple.. I had the ipad1 and skipped teh 2 cause it has the same crappy screen as the 3Gs iphone..

ipad 2 vs ipad 3 is like this all graphics intensive tasks run at the same speed on ipad 2 and 3 now but he pad3 looks 4 times better at the same time.. processes that are not graphics heaver are faster on the ipad 3 due to it having 1gig of ram which is double that of the ipad 2 which has 500mbs.

ipad 3 has better front and back cameras and a better DAC sound chip and better battery life

I'm currently saving for the Ipad 3 which I'll be getting in 2 months and at first I was thinking getting a refurb ipad 2 from Apple, but after some research I found it's better going for the new ipad + it's going to be my first ipad. Me personnally, if this is your first ipad, get the new one, if you have the 1st ipad ya it could be worth it to upgrade to the ipad 3, but if you have the ipad 2 then I would wait ti'll the new one comes out.

It can get a brand new ipad 2 with double of the storage of the ipad 3 at a much much lower price so go for the ipad 2.

id spend the little bit more n get the ipad 3, the graphics are amazing and a tad faster than ipad 2, i purchased the ipad 2 a week before the ipad 3 was released not knowing it was being released obviously, i payed £399 for mine, the same price u can get the ipad 3 at..Needless to say, i was gutted
