Data only plans for iPhone 4?

Hello all, I am currently trying to find some type of data only plan for my iPhone 4 so I can use it similar to how a 3G iPad would be used. I also would prefer to use it on a "no commitment" or prepaid process.

I have checked out the T-Mobile pay as you go phone/data plans but would really prefer it to be used with 3G instead of the Edge network for obvious reasons. I also have contacted AT&T and they have advised they do not have a "data only" plan that can be used with the iPhone 4.

My specs are it's a factory unlocked iPhone 4 on 5.1.1 and jailbroken using the Absinthe 2.0.4.

Does anyone know of a plan that would sustain this type of usage? I would also prefer that it's unlimited data. Thank you for any suggestions. I have also looked into Straight Talk but that's also a phone plan and I do not require this. Thanx again.

I've just seen a lot of places on Google and what not where people are using iPad plans on their iPhones. I really don't need another phone line, just the data.

3G speed is fast and I have AT&T as well. Straight talk is faster than my AT&T service.

Coverage is the same as AT&T.

I have read articles and talked to people who said that StraightTalk will kick you if you go over 2G of data, and they are not on all of AT&T towers.

My contract with ATT ends in two weeks, so as soon as it ends I will probably be switching, but not before asking ATT to unlock iPhone just to increase the value of the phone

Thanks.

Hit Thanks if I helped!

Currently I'm on 3UK, paying £15/month for UNLIMITED data on a pay as you go tariff on the iPhone. They don't make it easy to use the same tariff on my iPad.

But I've heard good things about SambaMobile.com - No monthly charges after you buy the simcard for £5 and unlimited data too. I'm awaiting delivery to see if it is as good as they claim it is and if it isn't, I doubt it can be any worse then the shite that is giffgaff whose unlimited data plan expired after 150 MiB in 2 days.

I've never had a problem, but I only do about 1.8 gig a month.

I should have clarified that Straight talk uses more than AT&T network, but comparing maps it is roughly At&T for the bring you own device program.
