Mobile and Normal Site Mixed on my iPhone?

Last night i was having some problems with the mobile site trying to mix with the normal version of the site on my iPhone 4. Just thought you might want to look take a look at it to make sure it was just a glitch on my side and not a minor coding error.

Here's a picture:

I spent a few days creating that mobile version back when I started the site but I'm not investing anymore time into that stupid mobile version. I fuckin HATE mobile versions.

FUCK MOBILE VERSIONS! Use the god damn NORMAL VERSION!!

But to answer your question, the mobile version of the site doesn't apply to the main page of the forum which is what you were viewing when you made that screen shot. That is how it was intended to be as there was no easy way to go about getting all that information that you see on the front page of the site into small tiny little boxes of a mobile version. That's why MOBILE VERSIONS SUCK DICK!!! Mobile versions are nothing but dumbed down versions of a site. If you want all the nice features of the site then use the damn FULL VERSION and view the site as it was intended to be viewed!!

I completely agree. I fucking hate mobile sites. I hate how dumbass safari forces you to view some sites only in the mobile version. It's bullshit.

Needless to say, I don't use the mobile version of this site either. I always switch the site to normal version if it puts me in mobile version for some reason. This just looked odd to me last night and wanted to at least let you guys know about it

No it's cool and Thanks for making the report.

BTW there is a tweak in Cydia called "User Agent Faker" that will allow you to make website think you're on a desktop instead of you're iPhone, thus allowing you to bypass mobile versions for sites.

Never used the mobile version ,sorry but it is not that good becuase you have no overview is what disturbs me .

I rather wait a second more to let the whole forum page is loaded then the using the (kind of censored ) mobile version.

See somebody been watching Chappelle show lately :P

Anywayz back to da biz:

Might be lil' off topic but if you ever got a site that forces u just to use its mobile version which in most cases (as SinfulSS said) is kinda restricted, no full content on it etc...
what you need to do In your Iphone browser you need to add extra command i.e.:

Code:
hxxp://www.yourwebsitenamehere.com/?no_mobile_redirect=1
it will work for 90% of all sites that forcing you to browse just their mobile version from an Idevice....

I like the mobile version. When using the normal on the iPhone, you spend a lot of time resizing and scrolling around. Links are hard to hit because you are often hitting the poster rather than the thread name. I just wish that avatars were disabled in the mobile version. They end up taking up half of the screen. I know you can disable them in the user control panel, but that would affect the normal version when I am viewing the site on my Mac or iPad.

All in all, I like the mobile version of the site. It makes viewing the site on the small screen on an iPhone a lot easier.
Hit the THANKS button if I have helped you!
