Honestly speaking,I don't understand all these hype about this Chrome. It's just a bare-bone browser that lacks all the functionality offered by other browsers like iCab.

You know that is not even my main concerning about google @ all. Google is the cia ,ok smartasses might think now firefox is the better solution because of open source but no ,if you examine who is behind the foundations who are giving money for the open source projects are mostly gouverment agency's behind those foundations. But @ least there they covering it up and dont give me a browser made directly by cia programmers.

While I don't see too much point using chrome when I have safari, I may try Chrome on iOS sometime

Browser change has been updated to 1.8-2 now and it 100% supports chrome even opening home screen web shortcuts. Browser chooser was good but as this now supports every kind of like, you really can replace safari with chrome completely

from what I read online (can't remember which website) that after testing chrome for IOS turned out to be 3.5 times slower than Safari, is it true or the Media is over reacting?!
As for me I love the windows version, the Android beta version still sucks since it's beta

No, if anything, it's three times faster than Safari. Whoever said that was flat out lying.

Of course it's kinda slower than Safari specially when handling JavaScript through UIWebView since the Nitro engine is Safari exclusive, so scrolling through the page lags because UIWebView renders on the main thread, but overall i'm very pleased with it, love the cloud tabs syncing, and speeddial, already replaced safari with chrome on my app launch dock.

I wonder if there's a tweak to select Chrome as the default browser?

Same here. I love that all my devices and pc share favorites and browser history automatically.
