@rmax67 Thats what i would like to know. How do you retrieve the shshs or if Im saying it wrong what are the steps to restore with shshs. Any body can help?

u can use the same software to retrieve the shsh bolbs. It will save them in a local folder called '.shsh" on ur pc

u can use tiny umberella to do a local restore, just hit the tss server in tinyumberella before u start restoring. or u could check this out

no, it doesnt jailbreak ur iphone. It allows u to restore to previous firmware that apple wont let u restore to. Provided u have uur shsh blobs

I have my shsh for 4.0 saved in cydia but I want to upgrade to 4.0.1. I have heard the jailbreakme.com site is down, so if I did this upgrade using tinyumbrella I would be stuck without the option to jailbreak?

hi all!
Ok, I have a Iphone 3Gs on 4.0. I am already jailbroken. My SHSH are backed up on Cydia and I used Tiny Umbrella and saved them on my PC. I want to restore my phone to default then jailbreak again to 4.0. How can I restore then get back to my 4.0?

I have read thant you dont need shsh for 3g, but everytime i try to restore to 4.0.1 (baterry issues)
is says that this device isnt eliigible for the requested build.
what do I do?, please help

if it is giving u that error, tthen that is when the shsh blobs come in, before u start restoring, pop up tinyumberella and start the tss server, then open itunes and the restore should go on smoothly
