the 0.0.5 one works with like only 4 streams and only 1 of them work, i have 0.1.1 and it says error in scripts, umm how to dl latest version of librtmp?

I really need to find out how this thing works. Only stream I can get working on USA is HGTV HD (ugh). Anyone try that showtime stream posted on the first page? Im about to try it but I dont know what Im doing.

Flash Player for UNIIX operating systems is utter garbage. I can watch 1080p and 720p videos FLAWLESSLY but I cant stream a damn youtube video fullscreen? Give me a break. Iev spent all day screwing with various versions of flash and nvidia drivers and my only real solution is to take all flash streams and funnel them through XBMC.

Im running an old $50 Pentium 4 with only PCI slots hooked to my living room TV. Got Nividia 9500 GT and TV Tuner cards. Flash in web in full screen is UNWATCHABLE. RTSP streams are BEAUTIFUL through xbmc it is literally flawless.

Hey man great stuff, read all your post throughout this thread and I'm having a bit of trouble getting the .xmls to be added as a source through the plugin. Can you give me an example code to past in a .xml to try for myself and a deeper explanation (sorry I can't read between the lines x.x) if its not too much to ask for. Thanks so much

hey can you please help me im tryyin what you are saying pasting the code to noteblook saving it as xml but which code is it that i am supose to copy and paste? im trying to get the turkish channels for my parrents when im going to thestreemdb.com and finding the turkish channels i press on one off them and then a window pups up with different options one off them starts with mms and the other starts like rttmp and there are one more , now it says that i have to signe in before it allows me to se the codes.

ok you need to make an xml file

paste in the code from thestreemdb.com into a plain text document and save as mystream.xml

upload this to your appletv...
i sftp with user mobile password alpine
this will put you in the home directory of the user account
upload the xml file to your home directory...

in XBMC video addons folder
press and hold the menu button on the livestreams icon
you should get the context menu
select Add-on settings

now you can select locate your user xml file

this should now show up in the plugin available streams

note.. you need to be running latest nightly build to add mms streams

Been trying to delete the files that don't work anymore (like test ones I have added), on the PC and mac you just right click on the file and delete it from the list.....but in apple tv 2 can't figure out the way.......does anyone have any ideas? Will be grateful for any input thanks
