Really don't like the headphone jack on the bottom of the phone. Makes no sense unless Apple want ppl to use their phones upside down or force users to bluetooth headphones or it's been moved to accommodate the proposed larger screen. Ergonomically it just doesn't work.

EDIT: There's no way that's a realistic look at the next iPhone. For one thing, I expect the bezel at the top and bottom of the phone to be much thinner to accommodate a larger screen and make the phone look more slick.

And, as other people have pointed out, there's no way apple uses phillips head screws at the bottom.

Then there are the rough edges, no metal around the bezels...

That was the one thing that really pissed me off with the first gen ipod touch when I bought it. It doesnt seem like a distraction but putting the headphone jack on the bottom really sucked for the cases I bought and just trying to use the case and listen to the ipod was a chore for me. So if that is case, along with the smaller connector, I wont be getting the new one. I really like my Morphie juice pack and I dont want to have to wait to buy another one.

other big phones have headphone jack on the top just fine..... ipod touch had the jack on the bottom and no on complained so i guess they see this the same way

Size (space ) is all relative. Like the mighty gold fish, we all expand to meet our environment.

Also, the need for a bigger screen is reflective of an aging society, and floating homogenation of many platforms (laptops, net books, tablets,smartphones, etc.)
