I have had my 3GS 32GB iPhone since Oct 2009.
Been a great phone until the battery started to fail.
(Been an even better phone since the discovery of Sinful iPhone!)
This was all until my anger got the best of me,and after the phone powered down with 30% power left, I pitch the phone across the room so fast a major league pitcher would be proud. The otter box case was no match for this loss of temper. It connected with the upper right corner, which as my luck had it, is the location of the much used sleep button.
With the sleep button dead, and "Quick Lock" installed I was back in business until.....
The Screen went out to where only white light was showing. Two days later the touch interface failed. Pulling the screen and reseating the cables did no good.....

Thankfully it was working enough a full backup was successful to PC, and all data made it to iCloud thankfully.
Yes, back to anger manament. Killing a 3GS 32GB was a sad day; I give my self the

just for the imbarrisment.
So will the new iPhone be out soon, I do hope so. Thanks to apple care and my insurance company the price of a replacmentis 3 bucks difference from a 16GB iPhone 4S. Being so close to a year from the release of the 4S I would want the newer iPhone unless the design is what you guys are refering to as a possible stock killer!
What ever the design, I do like the idea of the head phone jack on the bottom. I had formed the habbit of havin the 3GS unpside down, in my pocket, so hearing the incomming call or text was easier since the speaker would be facing up. Having the 3.5mm jack on the bottom would give me a little more cord length while using head phones.
What no blue tooth head set you ask? (I have lost two nice ones and figured I can keep better track of a cord VS a small electronic device that needs daily charging)
Thanks for the Video above. If that rumor is true it does look like a big change with just that little taken off.
