Icon4 Push Notification Problems

First post!
My iPhone 3G push notifications don't seem to be functioning properly. Funny thing is I do infact receive push notifications whenever I have an incoming or outgoing call. Another note: whenever I take out my T-Mobile SIM, push notifications work fine again. :/ Really hope someone can help me out I've been having this problem for quite a while. Here's some additional info:
iPhone 3G
iOS 4.2.1
BB: 5.13.04
JB with redsn0w then activated with old Cingular SIM which came with the phone when I purchased from a friend. Unlocked with ultrasn0w.
P.S.: Push also works when I put in my Cingular SIM.

Incoming and outgoing call is not considered push notification. That is just the phone functionality built into iOS.

You sound like you're mistaking pop-ups as push notifications. To determine if push notifications are working for you, carry out the following routine:

1.) Download "iPusher" from the AppStore

2.) Launch the App and wait for it to load

3.) Tap the "Test Push Notifications" button and wait for 5-10 seconds

4.) If iPusher is still showing "Please Wait...", it implies your push notifications is broken and you will need to download and install the "Push Doctor" package from the following Cydia repository:
----------------------------------------------
NERV Repository: http://cmdshft.ipwn.me/apt/
----------------------------------------------
NOTE: If you have any other push notifications fix tool installed, uninstall it first!
On the contrary, if iPusher shows a pop-up stating "Yay, push notifications work fine!", it implies exactly what it says and you probably need to do some notification setting changes via the Settings app.

No I mean for example lets say I get a message on AIM, the push notification for the message will show up if someone calls me. I have already tried using iPusher and it works fine with my Cingular SIM/No SIM but stuck at "Please wait.." with my T-Mo SIM. I've tried download Push Doctor but there were no certs available at the time, have they gotten more?

Hmm, try the following routine:

1.) Add the following repo:
---------------------------------------------------------
Bingner: http://repo.bingner.com
---------------------------------------------------------
2.) Install the "SAM" package and it's dependencies, repsring

3.) Open "SAMPrefs" from springboard, tap "Utilities", tap "Revert Lockdown to Stock", tap "De-Activate iPhone (clear push)", disconnect then receonnect iDevice to computer, open iTunes and it should officially activate your iDevice and fix push notifications.

SAM tells me that SAMState is Loaded OK, under more info it also tells me my activation state is Factory Activated. When trying to use Revert Lockdown it tells me Stockification Failure. My iPhone wasn't hacktivated so I don't really think that would be the cause of the problem. Do I proceed with De-Activate iPhone and reconnect to iTunes?

Are you paying T-Mobile for data? If not, turn off cellular data/3G and see if that does anything On the contrary, if you are, try this:

1.) Insert you T-Mobile SIM

2.) Navigate to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network

3.) Change the Access Point Name (APN) to "epc.tmobile.com"

4.) Reboot

I'm not paying for any sort of data, so I went ahead and turned off 3G but iPusher is still stuck at Please Wait...

You sure you're not hacktivated? Open SAM and check this is definite. Tap on More Information; what exactly does the ActivationState say? If anything besides "WildcardActivated", insert T-Mobile SIM and carry out the folliwng:

1.) go back to the main screen

(MUST BE CONNECTED TO A Wi-Fi NETWORK FOR THE FOLLOWING TO WORK!)

2.) tap on Utilities and tap "Deactivate iPhone"
3.) Tap Revert Lockdownd to Stock
4.) Tap "De-Activate iPhone (clear push)"
5.) disconnect then receonnect iDevice to computer, open iTunes and it should officially activate your iDevice and fix push notifications.

If it's showing WildcardActivated, delete then reinstall iPusher. Check if it works then.

Deleted and reinstalled iPusher, worked fine for a while but didn't install any other Push programs. My iPhone went on sleep as it usually does after 1 minute, and when I tried to use iPusher again I'm stuck at Please Wait... yet again.
