Apk is used to install on android devices.
Api is for iPhone.
Impossible to convert.
But most AppStore apps are in play store as well.

APK and IPA are two different programming codes and shells. i have researched this last year and it can not be done.

Yes, it is possible.
1. Buy iPhone, download whatever app you want.
2. Buy Android phone, download the very same app you did on iPhone.
3. Voila, when you're tired of the Android, convert to the iPhone and vice-versa. Problem solved.

Yes, there is something that can convert .apk to .ipa. It's called a developer 
|

only way i know is through emulation but not sure if they created one yet and i highly doubt they will.

Can i convert forza4 into an ipa so i can play it on my iphone using xboxlive and a wireless 360 pad and jeremy clarkson playing on multiplayer?

And you believe this because you have no idea about programming and the diffrent progamming langauages.Np problem about that. but if many people telling you that it is hardly possible you can trust in these statements.
It is the same with Mac OS and windows. It is possible to emulate an pc or mac but you need a good pc or mac to enjoy this emulated OS.
I cant imagine from what i know that this is possible to convert apk files to Ipa.

No it's not possible unless the core of the APK is wrapped under an iOS wrapper or runtime engine. Also known as "emulation," it can be done but with a lot of work and sleepless nights

or you type into the program Convert angry birds ipa into apk and the program downloads the apk version for you.
I doubt any program could simply "convert" from one language to another, how could it do beta testing and iron out any bugs?
If that was so easy, EA would write FIFA for the pc and auto convert it to ps3, 360 etc and save billion on development costs

Maybe it is this way.
Fact is that it is impossible to convert these files .If you have only a very limited understanding about programming and programm codes like i have , it is already enough to undetrstand that a converter is almost impossible to create.
Thats why emulators have been created or one of the reasons , it is merely more easy to emulate a system with a difften programm language then to convert any file to the actual OS language.

Lol. That is impossible, and if the site says they do that, they probably just give you the IPA of the iOS app that Android app copied in the first place. If i remember correctly, every app notable in Android showed up in iOS first. Its easier to develop for
