Cydia always wants to uninstall a cracked app

Every time I try to install a pakage from cydia, it wants to uninstall iconoclasm cracked, and install the standard one as well as the package I want to install.
How do I tell it to simply not uninstall what it wants to uninstall? I have been downloading the packages separately, however this is becoming a pain, especially since I can't find the last one I wanted.

The problem lies in the depndency's of packaged files( it says it requires magicfile as dependancy, and the app is being installed from sinfuliphone repo, but you have a magicfile from another repo ) installed from another app. And a last failed attempt at installation being a conflict as file already existed but no permission to overwrite. so any app you try install in future will bring up thsi erro as cydia tries to resolve and reinstall on next attempt.

I had this issue with dba-tech( lockinfo ).

Solution was painful, but as well solved within 5 minutes.

You will need to uninstall any package you have installed that its conflicting with, you will see a error in cydia such as cannot remoive or overwrite com.sinfuliphone.....app.blah blah

This is usually the cuplrit app. and more often caused by mixing apps from different repo's

But its not conflicting with any app that I know of. Its just being a bitch. Everything I want to do with Cydia needs to be done manually, its a royal pain. Is there not a way to make Cydia think that package isn't installed?

theguyz answer is exactly what I would suspect. Post a screenshot of the Cydia errors. They will show what's going on.

You can change the dependencys in the controlfile .

If it is a irrelevant dependency wich is not needed after all.

But after that you need to repack the deb again .

Pain in the ass yeah right .

i agree, it is a dependency issue .. i had the same problem with atimetool toggles .. what you could do is manually remove the dependency from the control file of the .deb file ... i used this guys method from x s e l l i z e forum it worked like a charm

I had this problem too a while back.

Every time I would try to download something from Cydia it would list the removal of another app in the list of what was to be installed.

It wasn't a dependency because I would go to download say, the auto lock sbsettings toggle and it would list the removal of Ifile-cracked in the list of things that were going to be installed.

But when I would hit cancel and go back to download the same tweak again it would list a different cracked app that was going to be removed in the list of items to be installed.

My solution was to buy the tweaks that it kept trying to remove because they were good tweaks and worth the money.

I figured it was implemented by saurik to reduce piracy of established developers products.

I have noticed that the first time I try and install a package it tells me it needs to uninstall one, then the second time it says I need to uninstall another.
Someone asked for screenshots, although they are not "errors" here are the screenshots.

So this is obviously not a dependcy, I just selected random packages for this, one is a theme. Any ideas?
I don't think that the images posted, so let me try this.

Noo XD

It would be certainly betterif yu make a screener while cydia operates and installes or removes things there is a log shown .Those are the relevant informations.

Look you can do the same if you download the deb and install it via ifile there is an log also shown that contains relevant infos .

What is it that causes issues ?

Iconoclasm ?

If you found out what it is tell me and will remove the dependency if possible, or gonna organize the dependency.

Now iam gonna go for a walk with my dog ,gonna come back and see if you made an advance here.

If I download the deb and install from Ifile it works. That's actually how I installed iconoclasm because I could not get it to install from cydia, and that is how I Installed every package since. I just would rather use cydia. As far as posting the log after I install something from cydia, that would cause iconoclasm to uninstall, something I would rather avoid, but wil do if I have to to solve this.
To answer your question, yes, when I try and install a package from cydia, it always wants to remove iconoclasm. If I cancel it and try again, the same package even, it wants to uninstall the 9x6 icon layout. If I exit cydia and return, again it wants to remove iconoclasm.
To clarify, the first time I try and install any package, it wants to uninstall iconoclasm cracks, and install iconoclasm. If I cancel the install and try and install any package a second time, the same one or different, it wants to remove the 9x6 layout for iconoclasm. No matter what I do, so long as I do not exit cydia it wants to remove the 9x6 layout ONLY, unless I exit and return to cydia. The the first one I want to install its back to iconoclasm.
