Being a former Windows user of 14 years (since I was three), and a Mac user of one year, I am vouching for Mac. I'm not bashing Windows in any way, but Macs are built with security at the core. Sure, they can be hacked and compromised too, any computer can, but they are overall more secure for the average user.

Don't get me wrong, I miss having certain programs on Windows, as well as its open-source nature, but it's a small trade-off in my opinion. Mostly everything I need is available on a Mac, and if I need a certain Windows program, I just open up Parallels or VMWare Fusion.

And albeit this next point is rather trivial, I just like the user interface of a Mac better than a Windows PC.

If only my mac could run the maze screensaver from Windows 95 / 98.

But hey, to all their own.

Never understood the Mac OS, lacked many features that I was used to on windows. Microsoft wins this one

I used a PC for probably 10 years. Honestly, after you own a PC for a year, its nothing but problems. Six years ago I bought my first Mac. That computer is still going strong. I have zero problems with it. My new Mac is amazing and I wouldn't replace it for anything but a 27".

I vote MAC.

What a question again ?!

Any question's left ?

I dont say majority is always right , but you can not exclude the reality.

Nevr a mac for me . I mean i can go to a premium hoe if i wanna spend to much money for a simple fuck .

The same is it with Mac's towards Windows. The Mac has nothing to offer that a windows system can not also do for you, but for a more reasonable price.

And if i hear one more that the mac is more safe then windows ,i can guaranty for nothing .

Apple Removes Its Virus Immunity Claim For Mac From Official Website, Not So Safe From Viruses After All Huh? | Redmond Pie

Where is the safety gone ?

Deal with it .

If someone want's to get your ass and has the knowledge and abilitys to do so , your ass is grass.

Get mature and watch on your own what is going on on your Mac and dont rely on wrong immunity claim's.

Study its usual behavior watch the every day usage ressources usage.

And after a time you see it without any virus tool that unusual behaviour forms occur you know something is wrong.

Then you rollback your windows or you set it up new. No big deal.I said already if i can forsee that to identify and fixing a certain problem will take more then 2 h ,i skip that ,save my important stuff and format c.Deletet the partition and setup windows new .Takes 20 - 25 mins and that's it .

I've been using pc,s since I was 12
I am now 28 and use a Mac at work since almost 2 years ago
I still have my pc at home but Next thing I buy will be a Mac book pro for home
They just seem so much more hastle free (for me anyway)
At work I do everything on my iMac except for AutoCAD, I do that on th PC I have AutoCAD for Mac (thanks Multipazz) but it just isn't as smooth on the Mac

So all in all I think I prefer Mac. All my jailbreak stuff works better redsnow, restore errors ect

Just my 2c

Well i don't care on what other people waste their money on.After all it is anybody own decision .

And as i saw lately ,it's about the small good thing's that people can be cheered up .

For example a second hard drive in their mac.

Hillarious .Sorry ,i got six hardrives and still can add two more to utilize all connector's.

But it is good if you are able to be happy about the small things in life.

And to clear up any doubt ,Yes iam sarcastic here.

Not even Mac Donald's for me .And again overprized junk.

And sorry after all you are all bootcamper's or Vmware users because of that fact i must conclude that your mac isnt obviously not that good after all ,that you lower your standarts and bite the bullet and use Windows.

Yeah windows sucks .Apple sucks even more in my eyes if i need to emulate another system if the superiour mac is again or mostly not supported.

I wonder what would it be like if there would be no emulation option .Then we would see , that mac's would be on the list of endangered species.

Period.
