Here's a condensed (23% smaller) version of the latest (28/08/2012) and here's a condensed and Rainstone Siri tweaked version of the latest

I thought I did lowercase it?.. It should still work fine uppercase. Thanks still.

i drag and dropped the file from my linux to ipod and didnt overwrite. i realized orginal was small and the updated host file was all capitols nothing big or anything i just renamed it. easy task.
as for getting those ads - using a user agent switcher extension with a idevice user agent. and then using another browser extension to get IPs like firebug i think. but idk

You could say I did both; removed thousands of the comments and new line characters and added a few entries (which were usually in the past hosts).

Yeah there is a few ads around, when i get time got a major update coming, flie will be a bit bigger but im sure i can compress it down.
Hopefully it will block ALL ads untill they change servers

Hello. I just read through the whole thread to see if someone has posted a similar question and did a google search.
When trying to install "Cydia Ads SUCK!!! SBSettings" from the iTortrix repo I am getting a Cannot Comply error:
The requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed.
At the bottom it has Depends with SBSettings at the right hand side.
Does something other than SBSettings need to be installed in order to use Cydia Ads SUCK!!! SBSettings? Does it need to have SBAdBlockToggle installed as well?
SBSettings 5.2.2 is installed and is working fine as far as I can tell.
Any suggestions?

Yes this is true.
But only because the repo is not working correctly.
Once these issues have been fixed I will post to let you all know.
Until then just use the manual install file

:O Thanks for your work. Have you tried replacing the 127.0.0.1 with 0.0.0.0?
Sorry if you already tried that. I tried a thread search of "0.0.0.0" and nothing came up. :x Don't have time to trawl through 18 pages atm.
I remembered that the adblock sbsettings toggle from now defunct modyouri swapped to 0.0.0.0 to speed up things. Something along the lines of system doesn't have to process all the connections back to itself (127.0.0.1).
