The cracked version posted shuts down when making a call on 4.2.1. Sorry if this is an old post, I found it in a google search. I'll try searching the forum.

We submitted an update for Apple's review with restored support for iOS 4.2. The update should be available later this week.

I use my 3g as wifi only phone so I'm sol until I figure out another way to set my phone up.

People just instal iAP Cracker from SinfulIPhone repo and purchase the in app purchases to block all ads and enable high quality calls over the wifi.

Mmmmmmm I upgraded to the latest version and now I lost my premium options. I have an old backup that I can restore to and that will bring the premium options I belive. Since I have done this before and it works to bring the premium options if you had them when you did the backup.

However I don't want to restore to that old backup. In fact it might not work since the backup is for IOS 4.1 and now I'm on IOS 5.0.1

Does anyone know how to open a backup file and explore it and just copy the files needed to make Talkatone Premium again?

that is because when u cracked it,the metadata was removed and u need that in order for in app purchases to be visable.btw, i believe every version after .9 works on ios 5.1.1 as i did try,so it should work.any1 got the ipa for talkatone with the metadata showing the option to purchase?

oh I didn't crack it, I had the ipas in my recycle bin so I just restored them.. I tried downloading the 1.2.3 ipa from a person who posted earlier but that didn't show the purchases either. Would you know how I can get the metadata back? Thanks!

i tried(iphone ios5.0.1) with 1.3.5,1.4.1 talkatone ipa too but buying(cracking with ipa cracker) not possible..verification gone to server side it seems....when i reclaimed my subscription from my previous gmail(previously cracked) it said"subscription found but however expired"...so out of luck and even tried russian hacker trick but same story....
but strangely the talkatone app on my ipod touch is still showing as premium(another gmail) because i didnt update it to latest version...
so any body got new ideas....

hmmm..so in ur version of 1.3.5,it doesnt work?can u send me a cracked copy WITH the metadata so i can find a loophole or something?

I upgraded recently and lost premium. I uninstalled talkatone. Got the 1.23 version by googling (by slappyjack) and installed it. then tried in app, works fine. if you have trouble, try to browse to application folder using ifile and if it exists after uninstalling, delete the application folder, reboot and see.

Really! that is weird, I tried but still no premium available. Anyone else succeed.

This is a solution for jailbroken (and unlocked) iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1 WITH iAP-Cracker INSTALLED! It could/should work with other devices (iPhone 3GS, iPad, etc.), but I have not tested that.

1. Delete the current version of Talkatone you have from your iPhone and from your iTunes Apps.

2. Sync iPhone with iTunes

3. Download Talkatone Version 1.2.3 from Download Talkatonev1.2.3iLuiChannel.ipa (14.52 M free and instantly from FileTrip - FileTrip

4. Mac Users: install downloaded ipa by either double click (will automatically be installed in iTunes) or drag ipa into iTunes Apps window

5. Sync itunes with iPhone to install Talkatone ipa on your iPhone

6. Use the trial version of Talkatone Premium for 14 days, then purchase for as many years you expect to live (remember: iAP Cracker has to be already installed and ON)

7. After that you can use Talkatone Premium without ads, better sound quality and use it with more than one Google Voice account.

8. According to other hackers you can even upgrade Talkatone to the latest version without loosing Premium, but I was too chicken to do it yet
