Much to think about now....I think I'll just do the commuter series from the start but I'd like something dust proof all around. I read a lot of reviews about how shitty lifeproof cases are and also how good they are...But a lot about leaks and broken phones and shattered screens and even the air bubble on the screen. Even that it doesn't respond as well to touch but thats the end of the world to me as I doubt I would try and use my iphone while I swim because you just never know but knowing that it would survive and accident from a drink or maybe caught in the rain etc etc is nice and being an electrician I would like to keep the dust out from every access point if possible! lots to think on haha

Otterbox may not be my first choice of a case, but when put in comparison to a Lifeproof case, Otterbox reigns supreme.

Dammit you guys haha! This is tough decision and I don't know when I'll get my phone either! When i ordered right at the start last friday i was in spot 1100 something now i'm at 750 and it hasn't been processed yet =( lets hope something happens by wednesday. I'm still leaning more towards the lifeproof as I said not for waterproof but for protection and sleek slim design.

OtterBox defender is my choice. I have .had my iphone 4 with no issues after dropping the phone several times. It is a little bulky, but I think it's worth it. I was going to pre-order, but the one I want does not ship until 9/28. I'll wait until they come in stores, rumor is that AT&T already have cases for the iPhone 5 in stores.

I have the lifeproof case on my 4S. I like it a lot. I used to use the Otter Box Defender series and the lifeproof case is a lot slimmer which I like. There are pros and cons to the case, as well though. Because of the charging port cover, you can only use an apple brand charger.. And the headphone jack piece tends to come loose and fall off. You can order replacements, but they're $15 for 3. I've had this case for about a month or so and have gone through 2 already.... I do go to the beach regularly and its been nice not worrying so much about getting my phone wet with my hands.... The other downside to the lifeproof case from my point of view, is that it doesn't come with a holster.

I talked to otterbox yesterday about my ordered case and they said the cases ordered from them will ship out Friday and should be delivered Monday or Tuesday
