I do apologise, I could only find one instance on this forum concerning a faulty home button, so obviously with the amount of owners of IPhone5 on here, it doesn't appear to be a major problem. But lets ignore that and keep on putting Apple down.

Of course not, the only thing Crapple discusses during their financial meetings is how FANBOYS are like frosted flakes....

SInful you back in state? im going to the wellington mall tomorrow to get that piece of shyt exchange.

and... I'm back. They did have replacement phones there. So I was all good. They pulled out a new iPhone 5... all the same specs... swapped the sim cards and that was that. I backed up on iCloud this AM... so just restored that. They were pretty good about the whole thing. process took less than an hour.

It would have took only 3 seconds to swap out an s3 because they have so many in stock that they are not able to sell. Lol

It just like all devices... Some will have defect and problems...

I remeber the 4s having all these issue...
I remeber the s3 people crying about battery and app crashes and non function screen after 1 day of use...

Same shit happen on all phones... Then we have ppl who don't have any problems...

My iPhone 5 is working great non of the issues, but I also understand there will be phone that have issues....

Oh well, I am sure there will be a number of defect phone out there, good that they posted/reported so we can be aware of the issues.

If they shipped 5 million phones and maybe a handful reported so based on quality level or PPM, or isolated incident . This meet six sigma standard.

I am sure people pissed off when spend big dollars, and expect everything perfect....
Things will be sorted out on the next few batches

Home button not working might be assembly issue that escape not related to design.
I am sure they will put Quality Alert notes to check for this going forward...

Because apple can afford to. With the billion + extra they took from the ( I wish i had those sales in my first 24hrs) side, they can do a lot to please a customer.

Twice today, randomly, all buttons on the device (power, home, volume, and switch) did not respond yet the screen was fully functional and the settings app was open. It showed no signs of slowing which to me means the cpu wasn't nearly loaded. I waited the first time and phone spazzed out after 5 minutes after registering all the button clicks. The second time I got tired of waiting and hard reset the phone, all buttons worked great after that. Obviously a bug, apple must fix this.
This is an iphone 5, haven't even had it 24 hours.
