Does the final release of iOS 6 have a way to turn off these so-called Government amber/emergency alert notification options?



It appears Crapple has buried (there's only a 0.001% probability of them removing such powerful iSheep tracker) these options that were visible right under the notifications settings in the betas; didn't see them on a friend's official iPhone 4 running iOS 6, perhaps it's only an option for those in the US

I did upgrade, stayed on it for 1 day and then went back to 5.1.1 cause I just wasn't impressed enough with it. Overall it has a few neat little changes here and there but the Maps thing sucks for a regular iPhone 4... no 3D.

For me, I don't think I'm gonna upgrade my phone ever again. I'm gonna run my IP4 on 5.1.1, and when it dies in a few years, I'll buy another phone.

Read here you have to have both 4.3 and 5.1.1 blobs saved and use Redsnow, although I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me and point you in the right direction.

I have personally updated to iOS 6 on my iPad2 however keeping iOS 5.1.1 on my iPhone 4.

I'm so glad I don't own a iPhone anymore my Samsung Galaxy Nexus on jellybean os makes the iPhone 5 an iOS 6 look outdated an retarded, if you want a almost fully fledged computing platform get a samsung gnex or Slll if you want a mere smartphone get an iPhone, stop living under apples shackles an stop being just another iSheep, iPhones are like a stupid religion, for people with nowhere left to turn an no sense of direction, my wife owns an iPhone 4 only because she's computer illiterate an just likes to use Facebook but once the new Nokia lummina with Windows mobile 8 comes out she will ditch her iPhone for that.

Can any early adopter confirm this statement I came across on AppAdvice:

With iOS 6, you can add up to 4 or 5 email accounts only. Also, some Bluetooth like The Bose Bluetooth headset Series 2 does not work with iOS 6. I am returning this piece of crab (iphone 5) and going back to 4S.

Are you actually now limited to a certain number of email accounts on iOS 6? I use 6 email accounts for different purposes on my iPhone and last thing I'd expect is iOS 6 limiting that
