Unable to SSH - "Connection Refused"

I am trying to jailbreak my iPhone 4 Sprint CDMA iOS6, but didn`t have luck with SSH.
Jailbreak with redsnow dev release goes through, tethered boot goes through.

Next step always fails. I`ve tried on Mac with terminal, tried on windows with putty with no luck. Always getting error "Connection refused".

Is the password different on cdma models?

Or , is there any trick for that?
Thank you for help.

On which IOS is this?

I get this sometimes if I leave the default password. It seems to be relatred to some kind of virus.

If you reinstall ssh and immediately change the password through Terminal. It will never get you this connection refused error again

In other words

Reinstall OpenSSH, make sure you also have Terminal installed. Log in with: su root
using the current password and type passwd

That will prompt you to change the password and then try to SSH with the new password after

if changing the password does work windows users can use ifunbox open terminal and change it that way

try redsn0w_win_0.9.13dev4

To anyone having problems on sprint and Verizon try the 9.13dev4 build. The newer build does not work on cdma phones but this build will. I searched high and low for a fix then I found this version.
