Normally just put different active simcard of other carrier boot it with cable connected to itunes(PC/MAC gotta have active internet connection) and leave it booting for 40-60 sec and u will see coverage bars of different carrier.

Gossips say that in latest version of ITUNES this screen is not always displayed.
But phone is still factory unlocked just IMEI check against APPLE DB and u will see simlock true condition
(example imei checker: S-URL.RO)

EDIT: only case while u might see this not happening if there are some SOFT UNLOCK files (SAM,ULTRASNOW etc...) stuck in your system then u might be having 1coverage bar issue but this is due those soft unlocks mechanism interefering with original modem fw. just get rid all leftover manually if u re pro.
IF not just clean restore. and then u will be unlocked.
This happening just to those with not fully soft unlocks solution removed.

90% people looking for factory unlock wud do it at operator directly if they be eligable...

no it turned out scam service is there but when u try to buy it u will see its not avail.

Waiting for response just please note u re first Iphone5 Rogers order ever for me so its kinda test one for me as well.
If u bored waiting i can just say to source that it failed SLA and i want refund.
But i wud wait couple of days more just to see outcome.
One way or another u will be refunded if anything else than unlock.

if you are with Bell they will NOT unlock your phone which I though they would.

I bought mine from Telus and now with Koodo (telus owner) they will unlock my iphone for 50 dollars. It is written on there website also.

So going threw sinful it would cost me 95 dollars to unlock.

Actually was a Telus customer till I join Koodo. I call Telus and no problem to unlock since the phone was purchase threw them.
But I understand what your saying. Its good to have your service for other things you said.

Pappo, I was wrong. THEY DONT! But couple friends told me they could. I think they were talking their @##$%. I am sorry!

I just check apple website and they don't at all.

I posted the link to get information, hope i am not breaking rules on that. If I am please remove the link of information of which providers are unlocking their phones.
