I have the most recent version of Redsn0w and deactivate isn't in my extras options... I have 7 extra options, 4 that are selectable are 'SHSH blobs' 'Select IPSW' 'Custom IPSW' and 'Even More'

In the even more selection I have 'Restore' 'Identify 'Backup' 'Tickets' 'DFU IPSW' and 'Preferences' none of which seem to have anything about deactivating.

Also When I first turned on my phone after purchase is was not activated, why a factory unlocked iPhone doesn't come pre activated seems strange to me. The phone activated right away once I inserted my AT&T SIM card but I think thats BS you have to have a contract with someone to even use the phone if it's "factory unlocked!"

Just go through the steps to jailbreak it, and the screen where you check what you want, like install cydia, the option is on that screen. Uncheck everything else then finish running redsn0w and your iPhone will be deactivated.

To deactivate with Redsnow you choose "jailbreak", follow the DFU instructions and since you're already JB'n, on the next menu screen uncheck "install cydia" and just check "deactivate". Once the process is complete, next time you connect to itunes you will see the "congratulations..." message.

something like this: Deactivate your phone with Redsn0w for ATT iPhone unlocking | iPhoneBlogr.com

When I choose jailbreak it has me put my phone into DFU mode then it says the iPhone 4S is not yet supported!

Please excuse me as Redsnow deactivation needs the limerain exploit (iPhone 4). Just hard reset/reboot back to normal.

If you dont want to use SAM, you can always pop a different carrier sim in and connect to iTunes or (as the poster above mentions) reboot while connected to itunes.

If your profile is correct...4S on 6.0, you can't downgrade from 6.0. Sorry.

It doesn't matter if you have 5.x blobs or not. If you upgraded your 4S to 6.0 then you're stuck there.
