Wifi & Bluetooth turned grey
I have a iphone 3gs with ios 5.1.1 jailbroken & with cydia . I was using this since last six months , suddenly one day I saw that my mobile lost network. So i switched it of & turned on again , but didn't help.
After that when i checked "About" i found that Wifi & Bluetooth turned grey.
but , i still can see the ime.
I tried restoring using itunes, after several attempts I finally restored it.
Wifi was now available , but no Bluetooth & network & the phone keeps rebooting after every few mins.
Can someone help me with this ,
I dont have apple store in my city & the phone is from grey market.

I had same thing. Think its a corrupt baseband but you may be able to restore to 4.1 with snowbreeze. Good luck

Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
Move file to desktop and delete lines on the bottom
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
And any like it
Restart iTunes and try again

use notepad and open in administrator mode.
your error has something to do with pointing to apple's servers. it should point to saurik's instead since the ipsw you're restoring to isn't signed anymore by apple.

Also use ireb in snowbreeze to get it into dfu as I have had better success that way than manually !!

Try to replace your battery if not work maybe the problem is the Baseband Chip

Guys, m screwed
Tried to dismantle the 3gs
all was going well , till i was re-assembling it.
Cable #6 broken
& i guess i have damaged the connector on MB.
What can i do now????
Please help
