Hi all, so out of curiosity, for these of us not that technical is it possible for someone who has got a windows USB set up to make creat an ISO or maybe even zip the content and upload them so we can just copy and paste...just a thought not sure how it would work logistically.

For those of you unable to figure out how to setup a VMware virtual machine, just download this: Download OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion bootable USB for Intel PCs Torrent - KickassTorrents

Just make a bootable use by following the instructions and you will have a bootable Mac OS X USB that you can use on your PC computer to install aTV Flash.

Can be done much easier.Install vmware 9 from the section software PC/MAC posted here on sinful.
Google for a pre installed lion osx vmware image torrent.
Open it in vmware workstation or even the freeware vmplayer.
When opened edit the settings of that image to your specs of your PC and run the image.
On intel PC's it should run,amd should work also for what I read about it.
There's one big site you will get pointed to "the Pie" when you google for vmware images as they provide the torrents and easie steps installations.
Is really simple guys.

NOTE download a PRE INSTALLED LION OSX IMAGE NOT A ISO OR DMG BECAUSE THAT'S TRICKIER TO INSTALL IN VMWARE.
As PRE is an already installed OS and only needs the the specs of your PC to be set.That's what it makes so easy of running it.

I haven't tried it but have done it once with an osx snow leopard dmg to iso for installation on PC.That worked so you can try to do the same.

How is that easier than restoring an already made image to a usb drive?

You mean running osx from a usb stick.I don't get it restoring on PC
Creating a bootable usb stick for osx on PC I think takes more than just run it in vmware.
Correct me if I'am wrong

Restoring on a pc = making bootable flash drive. Its nothing new, people have been making bootable Windows installers for years. this is the same idea, but rather than making a bootable installer, you are making a bootable OS... a Live Disk as linux would call it. Just plug in the USB, boot to it, and there you go a full Mac OS ready to use.

Thanks Superbee, been doing a lot of research and tried lots of different things since i posted that message. essentially what i was looking for for some who has a ready made atvflash usb to make an image of or copy the content in to zip file for us to just unzip on to a different usb so its "ready made"...i will try what you suggested.. Thanks

Thats kind of what i was looking for to. i,m not to tech savy either...

The problem would be that the usb is not readable in the PC nor MAC after atv flash is done with it, only works on ATV until you reformat it again.
