In fact, there are two ways for you to recover your deleted photos from iPhone. First, you can use a third-party tool to directly scan and recover pictures from your iPhone. Second, if you've synced your iPhone with iTunes, you also can regain your deleted pictures by extracting your iTunes backup file.

Meanwhile, there is also a thing you should pay attention: Turn off your iPhone and don't use it untill you find those photos, and don't sync your iPhone with iTunes, avoiding iTunes backup being updated.

I try to save to my mac everytime I add new photos or videos to my phone but for some reason I always loose the videos from my phone any ideas thanks .Im a complete newb so please be patient

The Camera Roll is for temporary storage. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer ASAP as with any other digital camera. The Camera Roll is also included with the iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.

If the photos/videos were not imported by your computer and your iPhone wasn't synced with iTunes since the photos/videos were captured by your iPhone, there is no way to recover them.

My two year old did the same thing to me! While I can't help with getting them back, use Photector to password protect the Delete button.

There are two ways to recover deleted photo and video on iPhone 4:
1. Directly scan and recover photo from iPhone
a) Connect your iPhone to the computer
b) Enter DFU mode and scan iPhone
c) Preview and recover iPhone photo

2. Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover iPhone photo
a) Scan your iTunes backup for iPhone 5/4S
b) Preview and recover iPhone photo
c) Do backup well
