Hi.

I have jailbreak my Atv2 yesterday. i have install NitoTv without problem. The SSH connection transfert worked perfectly for all transfert.

I think i have install Afc2add & OpenSSH since NitoTv. And now, i can't connect to my Atv2 in SSH with Cyberduck

I have the error : Network Error - Connection Refused.

My iP adress is the same that yesterday... i don't understand.

Anybody can help me ? Thanks

Use cyber duck

Start a new connection

Make sure you enter the correct ip address for your apple tv

Make sure you select sftp

Port 22

Login is root

Password is alpine by default. If you changed it then make sure you are entering it correctly.

Also try rebooting the Atv

With your silver Atv remote hold the menu and down buttons for 3-4 seconds.

Or unplug the unit for 30 sec and plug it back in.

this issue is knowen and caused by nito tv, read this Unable to SSH to Apple TV 5.01 | FireCore
i have the same problem, maybe there is an update soon.

you can use this SinfulXBMC Installer - Easily Install Add-ons for XBMC - No More SSH - SiNfuL iPhone to install your addons without ssh until there is a fix.

Possible Solution found.....

After unsuccessful attempts with cyberduck and terminal I was able to access my ATV2 through finder with my macbook. Just need to enter the username and password. If you haven't changed it the default is "root" and "alpine". I can view and access all files on the ATV2. I haven't tried to edit or modify anything but I don't anticipate any problems.

I'm going to play around with it the next few days.

I hope this helps out a few of you who don't want to do the re-jailbreak which i refuse to do.

Good Luck!!
