Mail Does Not Delete

Running 5.01 & jb. When I delete mail it does not delete, it continues to return. If I leave the mail open until it fades to dark the mail will usually delete then. If is always an issue when there is an attachment. Sometimes it takes days to get the damn note deleted. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it. I have gone into the setting but do not see a way to fix the issue.

Thanks folks for you help in advance.

Deleting emails within ios device does not actually delete the emails anyway. If it working correctly it will only make the email selected to delete not show on the device anymore.

To actually delete the email from the mailbox Try access through the safari browser. It's a pain but it is what it is.

had this happen when i was using my VPN. had many problems.

i just respring and used icleaner and it fixed itself.

everyone is right about the deletion of messages, you have to manually do this - go to mail > scroll down to your email providers > go to trash > delete trash manually

I use hotmail and yes you can delete mail from your inbox on ios and it does remove it from the hotmail server, so if you was to sign in from your laptop the emails will be deleted.
Make sure you setup your email account correctly.
